  34. FilerPatch modifies the RISC OS 3.10 Filer module to give the following
  35. enhancements:
  36. * Applications don't need the '!' as first character of leaf name.
  37. * Objects can be hidden (not shown in directory viewer).
  38. * Display configurations for directory viewer can be saved in a hidden file.
  39. * Additions to the menus, including a new set type menu showing all known
  40.   file types and their icons, sorted by name or value.
  41. * Configurable keyboard shortcuts for all filer and user-defined operations.
  42. * Applications can be opened and programs loaded without holding down SHIFT.
  43. * Directories can be displayed with their own icons.
  44. * Running an application without a '!Run' file within it opens it instead.
